About Kathie

“I am the beacon that lights the way
for courageous explorers.”

Kathie Nitz is a professionally trained Life & Relationship Coach who received her training through The Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, CA. She runs her own private coaching practice, Strive to Thrive, in New England.

The true spirit of her work is to help her clients establish an unwavering sense of self, so they can thrive in any relationship or environment. She is passionate about helping others break patterns that no longer serve them well and empowering them to live a life of choice. She works with individuals, couples and business teams to improve communication and increase understanding within the relationship.

She also works with caregivers of loved ones and teaches them how to give care from a stronger, healthier and more capable place. As a caregiver to her Mom, she understands firsthand the challenges caregivers face while navigating this new territory. What she’s personally discovered is that the emotional charge within this situation can be minimized. She has applied the principles learned in her coaches training and created a simple yet effective six step approach to help support caregivers. She is committed to sharing her insights and these steps with other caregivers.

She is currently a member and President of the International Coach Federation – CT Chapter. In addition, she is a member and serves on the Board of the Southbury Business Association. She is also a charter member of The New England Holistic Chamber of Commerce.

Kathie thrives when she incorporates her love of travel, photography and writing into both her life and coaching. Kathie has discovered these passions are also effective tools that provide an opportunity to rediscover our voice within the busy-ness of our lives, clarify our vision and gain perspective on what truly matters.
